Although I like to eat my veggies raw, I always cook green beans. Unfortunately, this is one veggie that can cause diarrhea, bloating and other abdominal issues if you eat it raw.
On a good note, green beans are packed with vitamin K and calcium, which promote healthy bones. They are tasty all by themselves, and you can jazz them up by adding your favorite spices that even non-veggie lovers would like.
I don’t cook this recipe nearly enough, although it’s one of my favorites. My family can’t seem to get enough when I make it.
As a plus, the green beans take less than 15 minutes to prepare from start to finish, and they only require a handful of ingredients you’re likely to already have in your cabinet.
