You can’t go wrong with this “Gotta Have It” fruit salad. It’s the perfect food any day, especially if you want to change things up.

The best thing about it is, you can use whatever’s available and add it right in — so it’s okay if you don’t have a specific fruit.

You can bring it along for lunch on a hot, summer day or prepare it as a snack for you and your family to nibble on.

It’s sure to satisfy any sweet tooth without the guilt that comes with refined sugars. To add in some protein, pair it with sunflower seeds, sliced almonds and walnuts. This is one recipe that’s hard to mess up.

Fruit Salad

Equipment

  • Medium Sized Bowl
  • Small Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 4 kiwis peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • ½ cup fresh pineapples
  • ½ cup fresh watermelon sliced
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp honey optional

Instructions
 

  • Rinse your fruit and place them (minus the lemon) in a medium-sized bowl
  • Squeeze half a lemon into a separate bowl and remove its seeds
  • Add 1 tbsp of honey to the lemon juice and mix together well
  • Pour the mixture of lemon and honey over the fruit, then toss everything together gently
  • Cover and allow to chill for 2 hours or eat the salad right away
